Dr. Derek M. Steele, a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, is a native of Eastern NC. Dr. Steele received his Dental Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 and continued his studies to earn a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University.
Together with his wife, Ceri, they have three busy kids. Derek enjoys spending time outdoor with his family, golf, tennis, and discovering new eats.

He also has written, edited, or contributed to over 80 books on orthodontics and craniofacial biology, including the widely used textbook Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Our Office
Dr. Daniela Toro attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine and obtained her Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, a Master in Sciences in Dentistry, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with high honors. Dr. Toro is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Santa Maria University in 2006, where she graduated first in her class of over 149 dentists and was Valedictorian.
A native of Scarborough, Ontario, Dr. Neeraj Pershad is passionate about providing affordable, excellent treatment in a timely and efficient manner, all with the kindness and attention to detail that his patients deserve.
Aside from his work in the office, Dr. Pershad is dedicated to the community in his personal life as well. Dr. Pershad also sponsors girls and boys soccer, hockey, go-carting and robotics. As a result of his service, Dr. Pershad received the Top 40 Under 40 Award for business achievement and community involvement in 2013.
In his free time, Dr. Pershad enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, running, kickboxing, and playing basketball.
